How's it going!

i'm Matt,

You will usually find me with either a coffee in hand, and now a days vibing out with my new little one listening to the songs of my earlier years trying to retain my youth, which I will never let go! Any, A Day to Remember or Bring me the Horizon fans here?

I have been travelling around the world and developing my skills for over a decade now. From my first love of landscapes and cars, to capturing the intimate moments of couples, my passion for photography has never changed. One thing I have learnt in my years of doing what I do is that no moment is too big or too small, and being able to capture that second in time to look back on forever is truly beautiful. When I go through a gallery my goal isn’t to just create a nice-looking image, but it is to help capture the emotions, the laughs, and the tears to help tell your “story” and relive those moments later.

Just a dad, that loves music, adventures, a coffee and his family.

Let's be friends, shall we

There are so many photographers to choose from, with a multitude of different styles and skillsets, but it all comes down to the photographer whose attributes suit you best! Yes these things are important but in the end its being able to be comfortable and enjoy the experience as well.

After learning about you, and the ideas you have, we will create a session together that will capture your vision. My philosophy when it comes to shooting is, just be as you are, yes there are poses I want you to get to, but I have you get to them naturally. I incorporate lots of movement into my sessions, and we’ll joke and laugh to make sure you are as relaxed as possible.

I absolutely love meeting new people, and it is always such an honor when they welcome me into their lives and let me learn their story. Being a part and able to capture someone’s big day, or family milestone has honestly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Shit I can guarantee if you were to watch me while shooting, if you’re crying, I will most likely have tears in my eyes as well aha!

From the day to day moments to the raw emotions on your big day, I'm here to capture those moments for you

"We wanted a photographer who could catch the special moments that captured who we are... the "us" and the magic of our family. We also wanted a mix of the traditional with a creative spin that only talented artists seem to achieve. A tall order. Matt did all of this and then some. We knew after our engagement photo session that we found the right person for us, and he only further solidified this on our wedding day. Matt is a genuinely solid guy, with such a great eye, and an ability to put you at ease and actually have fun having your picture taken. The photos we have capture all of the best parts of what we loved about our day. In truth, we genuinely bonded with him and feel sad that we don't have a reason to see him again, at least for now... we will think of something! Hire him - you won't be disappointed!"

"Matt's eye for detail, personable and thoughtful service, and enthusiasm were all wonderful additions to our big day. The quality and composition of his photos were fantastic. Thanks to Matt, we have a beautiful album to look back on and remember all the smiles, tears, and laughter."

"Our wedding venue was a tad different, we got married in a (stunning) mine at a Provincial Park. We are so thankful for Matt, he was totally up for the experience and captured our day just as we had imagined. There was nothing traditional about how we chose to do things, and he was flexible, fun and down for all the adventures we had in mind. It takes real talent to photograph the images he did while not being able to "pose" his clients in a predetermined way. Hands down, couldn't have asked for a better photographer to shoot our day."
